Okay first, to be clear, Ive always loved foodgawker and the rest of the gawkerverse. My low rating is purely for the app itself- its incredibly disappointing that in order to have the functionality thats available for free using the website based interface you have to pay what is a significant amount for a non-transferable phone application. I love the way you can swipe to scroll, I hate that you have to do that in order to see what youre looking at. I love that the search functionality is still easily accessible, I hate that the search content filters have been made significantly less accessible. Overall? Good, not great. I think Ill stick to simply using the website on my phone - more functionality at a significantly lower cost.

Love this app so much! Its a real shame we now have to pay for something that was free to use, but this is still my go-to food app! So much yum :)

Perfect app for beginners and for those moment when you need inspiration. And you can save your favorites recipes!

I proudly paid for this app because I enjoy the website so much. Then they now want you to pay again without acknowledging that Ive paid them previously. I would say that this is a great app had it not been for their need to rip me off.

Ive been a fan of Foodgawker for years. I paid for the full version and set up an account so I can save favorites. Great place for recipe inspiration or just tantalize the tastebuds.

Ive never been one to have recipes up my sleeves. I also dont eat some types of food. So its pretty cool that when I finally am in the mood to find incorporate a food I can just look up recipes with it in. This app has made cooking more fun.

I love foodgawker. I spend an inordinate amount of time scrolling through there website and the app is perfect for portable browsing. Love the simple design and easy usage.

Inspires me to get in the kitchen

Why doesnt the sort function work. If you search for something it will show that you get X results then if you sort it you somehow get way less. Further they are not the same as if you run the same search on regular computer.

This app is great when you are hungry or just looking for entertainment. The creativity is immense.

Ive had foodgawker lite for years but only recently updated to the full version. I didnt think it could be any better, but it is. I probably spend more time on foodgawker than I do on any other application on my phone, possibly even more than I do on my computer. I love scrolling through all the recipes and saving them for later, writing notes on the "back" of the "card," and being able to pin them on Pinterest directly from the app. There are more great recipes than Ill ever be able to make, and the photography is fantastic. Theyve really done a good job curating from the many food blogs out there. Bottom line: whether youre looking for a place to find and save recipes, where you can also write notes on the recipes you find, or youre simply looking to feast your eyes with beautiful food and photos, this is the app for you!

Love seeing the pictures, I wish I could enter other recipes that I find on my favorites.

My favorite app, but Im stuck with limited use now. Had no problem restoring purchase when I got my new phone, but had to erase & reinstall the app recently and my purchase wont restore.

Love it. Use it all the time.

I had the lite version and loved it! You could get any recipe and scroll forever..... Now you have to buy. I agree with another post why pay 1.99 go to their website and get everything for free. Not worth it anymore to have this app.

This app has every recipe you want to make and the best thing of all most blogs have step by step instructions and the pictures are good enough to eat.
